NE-YO in Japan

Holy shit. It kicked off with his killer tune "Because Of You".
Extremely bright spotlights are coming and going around the stage and audience.

When the key man showed up and walking through the loud sound, the hall was packed with full of yell.

Sweet falsetto, quick perfect steps, and as a dedication to the "King Of Pop", yelling "RIP Michael Jackson". That's only what he does, but he completely took a control of the floor.

His all performance was quite impressive as I expected.
He even performed his part of "Knock You down" by Keri Hilson Feat. Kanye West, and "Spotlight" by Jennifer Hudson, "Irreplaceable" by Beyoncé, both written by himself, I never expected those were gonna be performed, that was kinda big surprise.

I thought he'd perform the songs only from the best album recently released, but also from other old albums he did. I also didn't expect I could see him singing "So You Can Cry".

And I liked that he played drunk as he sung,,,,maybe "Part Of The List"....? Maybe..I don't remember exactly,,,but that was so funny.

And the show was closed with "CLOSER" and his crazy dance.

Finally I realized he was a true entertainer. His dance, sing, and anything that he tries to amuse people make them react how he want them to, I guess.

But one thing I was disappointed, the show looked like completely his routine work. Looked like he just did what he has to do everywhere else too, I mean,,,,he didn't mention about Nagoya, Japan etc. If he mentioned Nagoya with at least one word, I could feel he's in Japan, or Nagoya, but I couldn't. That's only one thing I wanna complain.

But after all, the show was terrific, fantastic, awesome anyway.

I wanna go if I get another opportunity.

The Roots Rising Up
Can't forget'em, a pioneer of jazzy hiphop band. Unfortunately I didn't try yet the one said the best work by them, Things Fall Apart. So for now, which I prefer the most is the latest one, Rising Down, and from that, "Rising Up" is fuckin' cool. I love it. and next, Do You Want More?!!??! as well.

Common Like Water For Chocolate The Light
This album is timeless masterpiece. Awesome. Tracks by Jay Dee is so smooth and ill, gentle, smart, not really jazzy, but kinda Bossa beats, Noone can be creative in that way! And Common sounds a real lyricist on those tracks. I love "The Light""Dooinit""Funky For You""The Questions""A Film Called(Pimp)".

This album is produced by Kanye West who's from Chicago, where also Common is from. Through this album, we find this more soulful affected Kanye than Common's previous work. Maybe that's why this album commercially went on big success.

Cradle Orchestra feat.Talib Kweli, So Fresh

Sounds like Nujabes sounds, but the album written by them is all composed of only instrumental sounds. This is what's different from Nujabes works.

I think this is Easy Listening Music or Healing Music rather than HipHop. Recent jazzy hiphop (also melodious hiphop) seems like rapping on jazz music (or rapping on Easy Listening sound), no vibes of hiphop at all to me, don't make me admit this as part of hiphop, like jazzy hiphop.

But here another story. I don't really like it as hiphop, but think quite fantastic as music. The sound really nice mixed up piano, violin, flute etc. If you never liked hiphop up to now, but it would make you realize again music is great ever.
Most of all, the guest MCs are crazy gorgeous. Black Thought from The Roots, CL smooth, Othello, well known as a dope rapper in jazzy hiphop field. I'm quite surprised they hooked up with them.

Time files on&on and all things evolve, never stay same, maybe this is one of suggestions of next step of hiphop style from Japan to the world.

I completed equipping the stereo component.

I equipped a personal compact audio system by ONKYO at first, then connected a digital media transport dock for iPod just released also by ONKYO and connected my laptop ultimately.

It definitely tunes CD, MD(I don't use it), radio, and iPod. Especially, iPod is connected with a digital cable, so can supply almost the same quality sound as CD if I import music to iPod as WAV or Lossless file, which means iPod would be a hi-fi sound server.

And the dock is connected to a laptop also, I can synchronize iPod and iTunes without any pain of disconnecting from the dock first then connecting to laptop again. It can also tune sound of laptop, I can watch movie on laptop with powerful sound from speakers.

Entry Model Audio＋My Clunker Laptop＋ONYO Digital Media Transport ND-S1= functional and good hi-fi enough audio.

This is a crazy terrific device.

This audio system makes me a homebody.
